This document applies to both The Impulse Company (UK) and The Impulse Company Australia. Any references to "The Impulse Company" refer to both The Impulse Company and The Impulse Company Australia unless otherwise specified.
Payments
- A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required for all courses and workshops, due upon acceptance and prior to said programs commencing.
- Balance payments are due before the commencement of the course or workshop unless a payment plan has been put in place.
Financial Hardship & Late Payments
- Within the bounds of practicality, we do everything we can to ensure that financial issues do not debar a student from taking an offered place. Please get in touch if you’d like to talk about an individual payment arrangement.
- If you find yourself with financial issues during the course, please get in touch so that we can make a new payment arrangement before you get behind.
- UK-Specific: Should you fall behind in your payment arrangement and do not make an attempt to contact us or discuss a new plan, admittance into the following Module will be paused until your payments are up to date.
Cancellations
- In the event of a course being cancelled by The Impulse Company, for reasons within their control, any deposits or balance payments will be fully refunded.
- Should classes be unable to go ahead in person, arrangements will be made for classes to move online. If online is not possible, classes will resume when it is deemed safe to do so by Government or other relevant guidelines.
Withdrawals & Refunds
UK:
- Please Note: all deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Year-Long Course
- If you have paid upfront:
- If you withdraw during Module 1, we retain the entire cost of that module, your deposit, and charge a withdrawal fee of £200.
- If you withdraw during Module 2, we retain the entire cost of two modules, your deposit, and charge a withdrawal fee of £200.
- If you withdraw during Module 3, we retain the entire amount, your deposit, and charge a withdrawal fee of £200.
- If you are on a monthly installment plan: We’ll charge you a £375 cancellation fee, and no refunds will be given.
- We will always be sensitive to your needs if you feel you must withdraw for personal or medical reasons. The same approach will apply.
- If you are thinking of withdrawing from the course for any other reason, please come and talk to us before doing so. We are committed to making your time with us as positive an experience as possible and if you are having difficulties, we’d like to know so that we can try to put them right together.
- Short Courses
Once a short course has commenced, no refunds will be given. - Requested to Depart
In the unlikely event that we feel you are not demonstrating the commitment or making the progress we would expect, we reserve the right to ask you to leave the year-long course. In that event, we would retain your deposit and a pro-rated fee for every month of the course you’ve completed and return any balance to you. - Deferring Your Training
If you need to defer to a later entry point, we are content to accommodate you if there is a place available and you have paid your deposit. When you rejoin will be decided by you and Scott, and your payment(s) will be frozen at your agreed date of deferral and resumed on your return.
Australia:
- Should you withdraw from an intensive or short course after the fees are paid in full and prior to 7 days before the commencement of the course, refunds will only be given if the participant (through their own time and resources) arranges for a suitable replacement student to take their place.
- Otherwise, no refund is available.
