Play-in-a-Month

Join us for Play-in-a-Month.

We take 1 script + Impulse actors + 4 days’ ‘rehearsal’ and finish with a Not-a-Performance.

It works like this.

Scott chooses a play based on who has signed up for the course. You play as cast, working for three Sundays, making discoveries on the way.

There’s no obligation to learn lines (unless you want to!) and on the final Sunday, you share those discoveries with an invited audience – fellow students, friends, colleagues, anyone you choose to invite.

Play-in-a-Month was one of the courses Scott offered when The Impulse Company was first established. We brought them back in Autumn 2021 and they proved as popular as they were 20-odd years ago.
