She has studied for many years the Meisner modality under the guidance of the Impulse Company Australia and found it to be a transformative experience that enhanced her presence and growth as an artist
.Last year Kathy started her business ‘Creative Wellbeing Support’ to be able to support creative industry individuals and businesses with their mental health and wellbeing. She is a passionate advocate who aspires to cultivate an environment in the industry where people can thrive. As a result she has come on board with Impulse Company Australia to collaborate in writing essential documents and policies. She also supports students working in the company who may need additional support. She takes a holistic approach when educating her peers by looking at all aspects of their life to help improve their Wellbeing and Mental Health.
Serving as co-chair for the MEAA Wellness Committee, a federal delegate for Equity and also on the National Performers Committee, Kathy endeavours to extend her advocacy efforts and contribute to significant systemic change. She is also in partnership with Screen Well and the Arts Wellbeing Collective, striving to implement positive change and foster Wellbeing across the industry.
